A big transformation at Tui Hills this past week as the new exposed-aggregate concrete paths were laid throughout the venue. Gone is the mixture of paving from rough rock-slabs, to stone chip. The aggregate gives the paths great texture and colour. Even more importantly, the continuous surface properly links the three main areas – the Kowhai Glade, Nikau Pavilion and Nectar Room – as never before. Next on our list is to grind, seal and polish the concrete floor of the Nikau Pavilion.
