Tui Hills offers three distinct wedding packages based primarily on the amount of time you want to put into
organising the big day. Within those packages, we offer a wide range of options to suit most budgets.

The Classic

Be Across Every Detail

If you like being involved in the details and interviewing and selecting all suppliers, this is the choice for you – a traditional type of wedding where the venue is hired and you’re in charge of organisation.

The venue hire includes much more than just use of the grounds and buildings. Venue-owned furniture and tableware hire is free. Wait, bar staff, pack down and cleaning are also priced in.

Food and drink are purchased from the venue via our Nectar Room bar and inhouse kitchen team.  With a Classic wedding, you can even meet with Head Chef David O’Leary to create a menu from scratch.

What a Classic includes:
  • Exclusive use of the venue for the day from 9am to midnight
  • Use of Tui Hills’ furniture, cutlery, glassware and crockery
  • Staff for food and drinks service
  • Two meetings with your Wedding Coordinator
  • Wedding insurance, bronze cover
  • Access to the Kowhai Glade and Nikau Pavilion for a wedding rehearsal
  • Use of the in-house music system covering the whole venue (indoors and outdoors)
  • Use of our portable sound system and microphone if required for your ceremony
  • Fairy lights and festoon lights in the Nikau Pavilion
  • Disco balls on the dance floor + dimmable lighting throughout the venue 
  • Ceremony chairs for all guests, including setup of your ceremony chairs in the Kowhai Glade (or Nikau Pavilion or Nectar Room)
  • Coordinator to run the day and be your liaison person
  • Cutting of the wedding cake
  • Setup of furniture, and pack-down and cleaning (Nikau Pavilion and Nectar Room)
  • Your choice of menu from Kiwi, Tui and Kereru options
  • Drinks package for seven hours including:
    • Soho still wine range – Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Rose and Pinot Noir
    • Sparkling wines – Tempus Two Varietal Prosecco
    • Hallertau tap beer – #2 Statesman pale ale  and #9 Beer of Auckland
    • Heineken and Corona bottled beer
    • Soft drinks, juices, fruit punch (on request), tea and coffee
    • You can add house spirits, and an extension of the drinks package hours, at extra cost

  • $165 pp for the Kiwi menu – Familiar favourites with a gourmet twist
  • $195 pp for the Tui menu – A premium meal for your special day
  • $235 pp for the Kereru menu – Our chef’s special selection
  • Each includes a 7-hour drinks package of house wine, beer and non-alcoholic beverages. Add house spirits to the selection for $10 per adult, free with the Kereru menu. You can also extend the package – each extra hour is $10 pp – or add an additional bar tab for premium drinks.
  • Babies and toddlers are free, children half price.
  • $10 per head discount for non-alcoholic drinks package

Plus venue fee

  • $4,000 for a premium date, such as Valentines Day
  • $3,000 for Saturday in summer
  • $2,000 for Friday or Sunday in summer
  • $1,000 for Wednesday, Thursday or any winter day (1 May – 30 Sep)

Minimum spend on reception, venue hire and other hire items

  • Saturday in summer – $18,000
  • Friday or Sunday in summer – $12,000
  • Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or any winter day (1 May – 30 Sep) – $7,000

There are no minimum guest numbers. The venue capacity is 120 people. There is no option for BYO drinks or outside catering.

Prices are valid until May 1 2022.

Premium Style and comfort

If you’d like to take things up a notch, with a full package of premium items such as access to the Tui Suite, a neon sign, and photo booth, while also relieving yourself of the worry of floral styling, this could be the package you want.

All premium items are available for one combined fee which saves hundreds of dollars on individual hire, while florals are set-up in a style you choose by Go Wedding Flowers, our recommended florist. We also gives you a hand with planning and set-up to take the pressure off the big day.

The food is selected from the excellent range of seasonal menus.

The Concierge

An Effortless Wedding

Be relaxed on your wedding day, and in the months before, with a Concierge package where most of the wedding is organised for you. This is a Classic Plus package with vendors and planning added to make organising your big day effortless.

All you have to do is decide on the food menu and pick the cake (tastings can be arranged at an extra cost), choose a celebrant and photographer from our lists, choose the floral option from our range of styles, select the DJ and music you want, and decide on the size of the drinks package.  We help you with those choices as part of the 15 hours of wedding planning in the package, including any add-ons or upgrades such as balloons, draping or neon signs.  We even make the bookings.

Our recommended suppliers have been selected on the quality of what they provide, their experience, versatility and track record. Knowledge of the venue and surrounding area (in the case of photographers) has also been considered.

We’ve found that “one size fits all” pricing doesn’t meet the needs of individual couples, particularly when it comes to the degree of help they want with organisation, along with food and drink preferences.

Although our pricing has been created to be as versatile and straightforward as possible, it’s still recommended you discuss the overall cost with one of our wedding coordinators. They’ll create an itemised proposal (quote), tailored to suit your specific requirements, with no hidden charges.

When a quote is created at a viewing, couples are able to participate directly in the process.
