Don’t Stress The Small Stuff
Fab Wedding Advice – Part 10 of a 10-part series
“Don’t worry, be happy” isn’t just a line from a song. You can make your wedding the best ever by having the right positive mindset, even if some things go wrong.
No matter how well you’ve planned, as the wedding draws near it’s easy to get caught up in those tiny little details such as cake toppers, favours, the music playlist and much, much more. The big mistake is to get wrapped up in the small stuff which can ruin your big day, if you let it.
While getting such details wrong may see something out of place, a wrong timing or some other small error, almost certainly it’s only you who’ll notice. And it most definitely won’t derail your wedding.
Just ask yourself – “Will I care about this a year from now?”
The most likely way the details will affect your big day is if you get fixated on them and neglect to organise the big things or are distracted from the more critical things on the day itself.
Part of ensuring you have a great wedding is to say to yourself: “This is going to be a fantastic day, no matter what happens, no matter what goes wrong, big or small”.
And if you do see something amiss – one of those little details – be like an actor in a play who muffs their lines and doesn’t let it affect the rest of the performance. If you’re not upset, like an audience, your guests won’t think anything’s amiss.

De-stress With Fake Deadlines

Trust Your Suppliers
Once you’ve chosen the venue and vendors to make your wedding a reality, relax and let them do just that.
You’ll enjoy your day so much more than if you keep trying to do their job for them. As the old saying goes, “why have a dog and bark yourself?”
