Meetings & Online Planning Help
Organising your wedding starts with our online wedding proposal providing an interactive budget to guide your choices. After the date’s booked and the proposal’s signed, our planner Nikki helps guide you through the following months.
She’ll check in with you periodically about the decisions you need to make at each appropriate milestone, particularly around creating the wedding day timeline, and will organise meetings as and when they’re needed. Couples find it particularly useful that they’re reminded of what needs to be done, and when, so they’re not panicking just before the big day.
To make everything easy to follow, you receive a planning guide and your personal online plan to record important details such as dates, times, and details of important guests and vendors. Those details help the day-of coordinator and her team to create the wedding just as you imagined it.
$1,500 Day-of Coordination for Free
Your day-of coordinator, also known as your host, spends 14 hours on the wedding day making sure everything goes to plan, whether that’s setting you up in the Tui Suite with a bottle of bubbles, checking that the wedding signs are all in place or the microphone for the celebrant is in working order. If you hired an external event planner, you’d expect to pay $1,500 or more.
Using your timeline and other wedding information as the script, she makes sure all the actors in the romantic wedding production hit their marks and deliver their performances, working alongside your MC to liaise with guests.
Most importantly, the host is your crucial support person on the day. Her number one concern is your needs. She’ll be standing alongside you at the beginning of the bridal path, she’ll make sure your glass is suitably topped up, and give you a hug goodbye at the end of the night.
Tui Hills basically includes a wedding planner as part of their package. Every detail had been discussed prior to the big day and it couldn’t have run smoother.
My top advice would be to go for a venue that specialises in weddings, where a host/planner etc are provided. It made the entire experience a lot easier

All part of 5 hours extra help throughout the planning process.

We’ll put you in touch with our recommended designers and printers who’ll do an A1 job.

To make organising your wedding as easy as possible, we use a team approach – employing specialists in systems, venue management, and planning, and then hosting the wedding on the day. Whilst it’s common for those duties to be undertaken by just one person – usually the owner – couples have found they have a better, less stressful experience, knowing they’re working with a team of experts with complementary skills. Nikki is the person who’ll help you through the process of organising your wedding, making sure you’ve done all you need to in the months leading up to the big day
Stephanie Metcalfe
Assistant Venue Manager
Stephanie, or one of her team members, will be the host of your wedding on the day, running the service and liaising with your MC to make sure everything goes smoothly.
Virginia Mackay
Multi-site Venue Manager
Virginia organises the venue as a whole and makes sure everything is in top condition. She’s also called upon to work out solutions for unusual requests.
Ruth Carpenter
Venue Owner
With a background in project management, Ruth oversees the systems that make the planning process as easy as possible, with an emphasis on constant improvement.
Stephanie is an absolute star. Truly, truly amazing. Really calmed my nerves during the rehearsal and was just so prepped and ready for everything throughout the day.
It was really good to have the video meetings and the planning sheet was a really helpful guide. I particularly enjoyed working with Nikki throughout the planning process as she knew the process inside out.
